Peggy Hitt’s son, Mike Land and his wife Neisa welcomed their daughter, Brooklyn McKenna Land, born 01-21-2010 at 3:47pm EST, 7lbs 3oz. Peggy and Wanda left today to go see her in person.

After 3 winters of little to no work and trying to live off of unemployment, I got a new job. I worked 2 days in December and decided it was time to look for something else. On January 5th Cheryl and I were officially laid off. I started my job on Jan 11th, I drive for Groendyke Transportation. I haul liquid asphalt and fuel. I love my job, can’t remember the last time I said that! Cheryl is in the process of job hunting.

Hi all is well at the Valdez Home —which we are selling—need a bigger house —Amanda had to go on a business trip this week and Daniel has been taking care of all the children..what a Dad…Amanda will be back on Sat. we really miss her!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just want to add —Love you guys— this is really a great way to stay in touch—now if someone would come up with a way so we dont have to type everything….oh yea …that but who wants to see me in my PJ’s …OK… typing is gooooooood……
